It may be here are my points for you on what reasons this problem may occur.If your sim has stopped working then also this points may work for solving your problem.free test here So please note these steps or points mentioned above are my opinion so please do not blame me for your problem in the comments
There may be several reasons for it:-

Your sim may be damaged or scratched internally or externally.Perhaps you may have recently purchased a new sim and made a minor mistake while opening the cover on the sim or if where you bought the sim the store owner may have caused some problem !!
Your mobile slot may be damaged.I case you have forcefully tried to add the inside the slot in order to save time while in a running state of mind.
It may happen when you have a old mobile phone and haven’t wiped out dust from the sim slots for
You may be in a rural area or some where you are on.In some of the villages that are in very less developed states you may not get a good network.For getting a good network you can also upgrade into a premium pack of any service provider like airtel.
It is also possible that you haven’t recharged yet for a long period of time.So your sim may stopped working.If you are seeking for a recharge lone then dial up at this number: - * 141# for a 10 rupees loan instantly.
Your mobile settings could be the reason for this.This can be a very rare case of malfunction on your sim, then you should check the solution on youtube or google for a better and faster solution.
If your sim is not installed in the correct internet signal size (4G or 3G) .Maybe you accidentally inserted the sim into the wrong slot (i.e., in some cases slot than 4G) .So it is best to check that you have read your mobile user manual carefully to see which sim card is the right mobile phone.
May your sim be placed in the wrong place in case you have an old phone and check if it is faulty otherwise and remove your sim cardand again insert it in the correct direction.
It can also happen if your new sim and you have not activated your sim.You can use it by sending the 20-digit sim card number provided on the sim the card packet inside is up to 121, and within a few minutes or two you receive a confirmation message in your inbox, reply 1, and receive a confirmation call immediately and give your consent replying 1.Then your sim card will be activated within a few hour or two or in some hours.
Your sim card can also be named by a fraudster by social engineering or an electrician while requesting your email (a 16-digit number on the back of the sim).I call you and assure you that you may have some problem with your ISP provider or convince you anyway.In this case should contact airtel for your problem.
You may be overseas for some reason and you will not find signals there. Then you must have a global SIM card for easy use.international sim card provider to provide your overseas sim for example, Reliance passport sim, Airtel world sim from official airtel site etc.
This is the most unusual case for your problem,it may be that the airtel tower nearer to you may be damaged for some farmers' protest in India or in some other countries also.
You can even clear your mobile cache data to see if your network problem is fixed or not.If only if you get an error of a sim card is not detected then only try this method.
Reboot your mobile phone for a quick solution for your network issue and try to check if the problem is fixed or not else then follow everything which is mentioned above here for good chances of getting your mobile network back.
